EBN (European Business News) broadcast 24h a day in clear PAL from Eutelsat Hot Bird 1 at 13 degrees East with stereo sound on 7.02 and 7.20 MHz, and shared six hours a day (6am to 12pm UK time / 7am to 13.00 hours CET+1 on the continent) on Astra 1C using Bravo's transponder encoded in Videocrypt 1 for UK Sky satellite dish viewers as part of the Sky Multichannel package, and would also be illuminated in Videocrypt 2 for European Astra dish subscribers to the Multichoice Kaleidoscope package in Europe.

Christian Channel Europe launched a 24-hour feed on Winkom when that launched in 1996. It also broadcasts from 4 to 7am on GEM's slot until GOD was launched and the 24-hour feed became the only feed left. It's still around today, and is still on Winkom.

The Childrens Channel had been broadcasting on Winkom since 1994, when Funf launched. TCC's closure meant Funf can now broadcast 24 hours a day. A HD version was launched in 2008, and it has since established itself as the Fifth Channel.

Wow, I was 4 when this episode of ITV News was on air! I remember this theme running until I was about 8, I always thought it sounded really harsh compared to the BBC News theme.

Big mistake ITV, BIG MISTAKE!!! My grandma was a GMTV watcher when when me and my sister came over throughout the 2000's and afterwards, me and my sister would either watch CBBC, CiTV or even Nicktoons TV. I told my grandma on what happened to GMTV and it was replaced with Daybreak with a dark and purple set, whereas BBC's Breakfast had a mixture of reds, oranges and yellows so by then my grandma flipped over to the other side for BBC's Breakfast. Adrian and Christine was a bad choice for presenters of Daybreak, then they left the programme in 2011 and then a 2012 relaunch with new presenters wasn't enough to save Daybreak. So by 2014, ITV announced that Daybreak would be axed in favour of Good Morning Britain, and the ratings haven't been improved at all. ITV will never learn from their mistakes.
